Hey everyone. So I’ve been playing music and writing songs and whatnot for years now. I’ve been recording as I’ve been learning to record. Usually I take a month in a summer and try to punch out a dozen or so songs as quickly as possible by staying up all night all summer. After 2 or 3 years of doing that, I decided to take my time with this last batch of songs. So over the last year or so I’ve been recording, writing, rerecording and rewriting dozens and dozens of songs. I’ve gotten to the point where I think I have a handful of strong songs that have been recorded well. That being said, I hope you all take what time you may have and give them all a listen.
With an exception or two, I play every instrument on every song. On one song (Wrap Me Around Your Finger) my brother played bass and when I didn’t have an instrument I needed, mostly drums, I programmed them using various computer programs or found and created loops instead. Here and there I would just use my keyboard. I hope you all enjoy listening and please comment as much as you can, I want to get better as a performer, producer and writer so I would love some feedback.

I've posted four tracks from the new album. Enjoy. These are lower quality tracks so more people can listen to them online, if you want you can download these lower quality ones. When the whole album is done, the cd quality cuts will be up for downloading. I am going to be allowing it to be downloaded for free, but any donations will be welcome and go towards getting the whole thing professionally mastered. I hope you enjoy these tracks and eventually the whole cd. If you're here after watching the Crucible, I hope you enjoyed that show and thanks, on behalf of our cast and crew, for coming.

If you haven't seen the show be sure to check it out at UWF during the next two weekends.
I've decided to make the "free stuff" section open to everyone, regardless of whether or not you've joined the site. There you can find my previous album and other tracks, most able to be downloaded. Enjoy.
Yours,
Nick
Alright I've begun work on a new album. I have finished one track already and should finish the rest this summer. I've posted that finished track, For You, already. It is about a dear friend of mine who I've grown up with both as a person and a musician. I also am putting some advanced demos in the Free Stuff section. Enjoy it people.

So I got alot of positive feedback on the tunes from the people I know, and random people I don't know. But the majority of people who are professional musicians, or close enough, had some really harsh criticisms. At first I was upset, as I would imagine most people would be, but now, several months later, I am quite happy with the comments I got from those people. They gave me some good advice that I've taken. I, as per their advice, got a band together and it has been a wonderful experience. I've been in many bands before but they always seemed to be creatively stifling, which is why I had shied away from bands for a while. But this one is a very open band. We are free to be creative and there isn't that asshole most groups have that just starts barking orders. I've been getting better at guitar and singing as a result, and have managed to write more songs. I find myself writing more rock and blues songs with a band then I would tend to write on my own. It is quite a good experience.
I recently started a political organization here on campus. It's goal are merely to get people of college age to become more active politically. Not just you know, "hey vote or die", but something intelligent like "here are some of the issues that affect and here are where local, state and federal politicians stand on the matters." No more telling people to vote just so people vote. I am the president and that is cool. I have two chick officers, which is also cool . Hahaha.
See Ya
Merry Christmas

Hey, I am Nick. If you like the bands Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Boston, the Eagles, Queen, Aerosmith, Alice In Chains, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Dave Matthews Band, Robert Johnson, Bad Company, Dire Straits, BB King, John Lee Hooker, AC/DC, Flogging Molly then you... like the same music as I like, which makes you cool. That's right, I have the balls to say it is cool to like, do and say what I like. I like making music. I write and record what I want to. Sometimes it is up beat rockabilly, sometimes it is slow sappy pop. I like it. If you like it great. If not, then that's cool too.
I will be updating the site frequently so please join the E-Team to recieve updates when I do. Plus only members will have access to download free songs and get discounts on upcoming releases (there is one in the works) and tour pictures.
Welcome,
Nick
