About Me
I was born in Singapore and grew up at various times in Germany, Israel, Syria, Indonesia and the US. I am half American and half German/Dutch. I started playing trumpet at 9 years old, guitar at 17, bass at 18, piano at 19, and drums at 20. I am now 21. In the summer of 2005 I released my debut album, Everytime. It sold very well for a completely unadvertised CD. By word of mouth I gained enough notoriety to be asked to join the band The Part Mentals in Damascus, Syria. We were one of the top English speaking bands in the city of 6 million. After The Part Mentals broke up due to its members leaving the area, I was asked to be a founding member of the extremely talented band, The Chams. Within three months of The Chams birth, they were asked to play at the prestigious Bunker Club in the Malki district of Damascus. On the first night, The Chams sold out the venue and each subsequent show was sold out with no standing room spaces available. During this time I was recording the album Everytime, apart from The Chams, though several members of The Chams are interested in rerecording them. In December 2005, I played my last show with The Chams, a sold out Christmas show at the Bunker Club. In January 2006, I moved to Pensacola, Florida to attend the University of West Florida. I've done several solo shows in Pensacola, but they were mostly related to the university. I released Maybe I Don't Believe on July 16th, 2007. I am forming a band at the moment and will be doing some of my own songs along with whatever songs others' bring to the table.
